discuss any matters with students regarding careers information.
Details of school-based
apprenticeships and part time casual jobs are also available from Mrs. Wrigley.

A new website for prospective
uni students has been developed at
http://www.uq.edu.au/study. This excellent website contains detailed
information on all UQ programmes and has a number of innovative features
including
-
A specially designed
Secondary School Students’ web page where students can search for courses
based on their favourite school subjects and
-
Registration for free
newsletters containing information about the interest areas nominated by students.
Another very useful website for
those who are not certain what they would like to study at university can be
found www.qut.com. Select the Studyfinder
section on the home page. Once at Studyfinder, select the “Match My Skills”
button and complete the online questionnaire. It takes about 5-10 minutes and
concludes by giving you some ideas of the various courses open to students at
uni
Web sites for helping you choose careers, tertiary institutions and
